 Program Topics:

This training provides employees with the knowledge necessary to safely set up and operate welding machines. Attendees will receive a reference notebook to keep.

Roads Scholar I

This course is an elective in the Roads Scholar I course track.


Registration Fee

The registration fee for this class is $50 per person for employees of government agencies and $75 per person for non-government agencies. Fee includes class handout and lunch. Invoices will be sent upon receipt of registration form. Invoices can be paid by cash, check, money order, or credit card.


Cancellation Policy

Please be considerate of those on the waiting list, cancel early if necessary. A full refund will be made if you cancel no later than 3 business days prior to the training day; otherwise, you will forfeit the registration fee.


Special Notes

STUDENTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN PPE which INCLUDES HOODS AND LEATHERS. In order to receive credit for this class, attendees must stay until the end when it is dismissed by the instructor and class certificates are awarded.

Instructors

Stampe, Anthony

Raised a cattleman, Anthony learned to weld as a teenager while working on machinery & pipe fencing.  He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Agribusiness Management and a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Marketing.  He’s trained and advised hundreds of mechanics, welders, & field technicians regarding weld repairs on machinery and equipment as a technical representative for Rockmount Research & Alloys for the last 16 years.  In 2014, he created Practical Metallurgy, a seminar on welding industry terminology, mechanical properties of steel, metals identification and heat treatments. In 2015, Anthony contracted with TPC Training as a trainer for their Maintenance Welding program, conducting seminars throughout the United States.  He’s traveled from Virginia to Seattle to train personnel, and many companies and shops.
