Fall Protection - Two Part Series

Part 1: October 6, 2020 07:00 - 09:00 AM (MT)

Falls are the second-leading cause of death in the transportation construction industry, behind runovers and backovers.  This 4-hour course provides training to protect workers against falls especially from bridge work. This Fall Protection course is being offered FREE by WV LTAP.

RS II CREDIT - Participants are welcome to join any of the two parts however a certificate of attendance will only be issued to those that attend the full session on BOTH days.  This training will provide 4-hours in our RS II Safety focus area.  Please sign into each training session using your full name to receive credit. Once you receive your Certificates from WV LTAP, please Email copies to Colorado LTAP (cltap@colorado.edu) for credit.

  • Know the fall protection regulations and how to apply them
  • Know the components of a harness and how to inspect it
  • Understand the importance of documenting the inspections
  • Know when to use fall protection and what type is required
  • Know how to use and maintain fall protection

Registration Fee

The registration fee for this workshop is $50 per person for employees of government agencies and $75 per person for non-government agencies. Fee includes any class handouts and lunch. Registration can be paid online, or via invoice upon special request. Please contact cltap@frontrange.edu for questions.

Cancellation Policy

Please be considerate of those on the waiting list, cancel early if necessary. A full refund will be made if you cancel no later than 3 business days prior to the training day; otherwise, you will forfeit the registration fee.

Special Notes

In order to receive credit for this class, attendees must stay until the end when it is dismissed by the instructor and class certificates are awarded.
