CSA: Webinar: Walking - Working Surfaces and Fall Prevention
Falls from heights and on the same level are among the leading causes of serious work-related injuries and deaths. In 2017, OSHA updated the standards on walking-working surfaces and personal fall protection systems to better protect workers in general industry from these hazards. These updated rules were intended to clarify standards, training requirements, and inspection requirements however, employers still have questions about the standard and compliance.
This program will review the standard and discuss compliance options and considerations. Updates to the general industry standards including slip, trip, and fall hazards and changes to the requirements for personal fall protection systems will also be discussed.
