Crack Sealing, Filling, and Mastic Crack Repairs

This webinar will provide an overview of crack sealing and filling. It will discuss why sealing cracks is important, types of cracks, and how to limit the number of cracks in your pavement. Attendees will also learn about crack-filling methods, material selection, best practices, and how to deal with large cracks and cupped cracks.

Webinar Instructor
Thomas Wood has worked in the pavement field for more than 40 years. He has worked for MnDOT both in maintenance and asphalt research. He also worked for an asphalt supplier (Koch Materials Company) and a consulting engineering firm (WSB). He is currently employed by ASTECH Corp. as a pavement specialist helping customers with any pavement issues. Tom has a strong passion for keeping good roads good longer. He has been married for over 41 years with 4 children and 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild and another on the way. In his spare time, Tom enjoys tractor pulling, fishing, and hunting.
