Safety on the Job - Westminster

This course is offered every Fall.
Effective job safety and health add value to the workplace and help reduce worker injuries and illnesses. This class covers standards and rules for safe working conditions, tools, proper use of equipment, mounting/dismounting, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and more.

This course is a core class in the Roads Scholar I course track.
The registration fee for this workshop is $50 per person for employees of government agencies and $75 per person for non-government agencies. Fee includes class handout and lunch. Invoices will be sent upon receipt of registration form. Invoices can be paid by cash, check, money order, or credit card.
Please be considerate of those on the waiting list, cancel early if necessary. A full refund will be made if you cancel no later than 3 business days prior to the training day; otherwise, you will forfeit the registration fee.
In order to receive credit for this class, attendees must stay until the end when it is dismissed by the instructor and class certificates are awarded.
Tim Longbrook, with a degree in Human Resource Management, has presented Flagger Certification and Work Zone Traffic Safety classes to hundreds of public works, streets, and road and bridge personnel throughout Colorado. Tim is a retired Professional Safety Trainer from CIRSA and retired from the U.S. Army at the rank of Colonel. Tim has been an LTAP instructor for over 12 years.
