This class will cover all of the information that an attendee needs to successfully complete the CDOT flagger certification exam. The instructor will talk about proper flagging techniques, safety, traffic control devices, available resources, and other topics related to being a competent and safe flagger. NEW: CDOT has a new 85% passing requirement on the exam.
This class is a workshop and not associated with any course track.
The registration fee for this workshop is $25 per person for employees of government agencies and $50 per person for non-government agencies. Fee includes class handout and exam.
Please be considerate of those on the waiting list, cancel early if necessary. A full refund will be made if you cancel no later than 3 business days prior to the training day; otherwise, you will forfeit the registration fee.
In order to receive credit for this class, attendees must stay until the end when it is dismissed by the instructor and class certificates are awarded. This class is a "workshop" and does not count towards credit in our Roads Scholar I or Roads Scholar II programs.
Tim Longbrook, with a degree in Human Resource Management, has presented Flagger Certification and Work Zone Traffic Safety classes to hundreds of public works, streets, and road and bridge personnel throughout Colorado. Tim is a retired Professional Safety Trainer from CIRSA and retired from the U.S. Army at the rank of Colonel. Tim has been an LTAP instructor for over 12 years.
