Local Road Safety Plans Peer Exchange Closed
Description:
AGENDA_2018 CO LRSP Peer Exchange_v2.pdf
From 2014 to 2015, Colorado’s urban areas saw an increase in motor vehicle fatalities of 9%; rural areas saw a bigger increase of 14%. In November 2017, the Colorado LTAP held the Local Innovation Implementation Summit. Data-Driven Safety Analysis, specifically Local Road Safety Plans (LRSPs) were a key component of the Summit’s agenda. Agencies in Colorado are encouraged to develop LRSPs to improve roadway safety and reduce crashes and fatalities. The Colorado LRSP Team (CLTAP, CDOT, and FHWA) would like to build on the Summit’s success and LRSP momentum by providing an in-state Peer Exchange. This exchange will bring together locals throughout Colorado and around the country to highlight best practices and lessons learned. Join us for this peer exchange and learn how a Local Road Safety Plan can benefit you and your community! [Sponsored Lodging info below.]
